  1. Since I was ill I was asked to talk about my experience about Wooster Memorial Park.

From the second you walked off the concrete of our modern human world you are confronted by an army of trees. This was nature, but a different kind truthfully, still tainted by man. As one ventured through the crowd you notice the obvious age difference between some of the oaks. Clearly many had been planted by the entrance and there was a path. Trees had to be cut down for our convenience, to say that we have been in this nature. When you went deeper into this nature a path still existed, clearly indicating the footsteps of the last humans here, a mark that this isn’t true nature but a tainted one for our pleasure. Though the land itself was astonishing you still always felt as if you were in a land of humanity thus cutting yourself off from nature.
